We’re looking for a Service Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their growing team!
A Day in the Life
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient organization and operations of
the service department, while maximizing efficiencies, profitability and reducing costs. You will
ensure complete customer satisfaction and repeat patronage by fostering a positive staff
attitude, professionalism and work quality excellence. In your day-to-day, you will:
• Provide customers with a world-class customer experience that demonstrates a passion
for the boating lifestyle and a dedication to customer satisfaction
• Own all management responsibilities related to service logistics including recruitment,
scheduling, service workflow, reviewing work orders, and enforcing company policies.
• Provide hands-on support to the services team to ensure they have the right tools,
resources, and information to exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain service lot to ensure maximum efficiency including tool and equipment
management.
• Develop and implement systems, procedures, and tech to ensure efficient work
production and maximum gross income
• Work with the Shop Foreman to review prior days’ activity and current days progress
• Manage all service logistics including retail, warranty, rigging and internal work orders,
reviewing and verifying all warranty claims are paid promptly, and
• Stay up to date on all industry news including recalls, product updates, and legislative
changes.
• Assist general management with periodic financial forecasts and provide insight into
competition for pricing and promotional activity.
• Attend training seminars when necessary and make recommendations and coordinate
manufacturer service training for technicians.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of service, parts, or shop management experience
• Familiarity with a variety of computer systems and programs
• Valid BC driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background/drug screen
• Ability to travel to the United States
It’s a bonus if you have
• Previous marine servicing, marine retails, or boating experience
• Previous experience working with sub-contractors
• A mechanic’s license.
