Shhh, it’s no longer a secret!

The height of summer can be summed up into three words… sun, yachting, fun! We had an opportunity to spend some time with M&P Yacht Centre’s Business Development Manager, Anya Morozova. In this exclusive feature, she lets us in on her secrets of having top notch appies while aboard her favorite yachts. With Anya sharing with us her favorite appy recipes, this gives us (and our readers!) confidence to show up at Rendezvous 2023, which has a long standing, friendly competition for the “Best Appy” within our Owners Club members.

Creativity comes naturally to Anya, and she gets her inspiration from the moment she walks into the store. Whether she’s at home in the Pacific Northwest or traveling the Med, she takes in the fresh, local produce in season and creates recipes right on the spot! Providing a holistic experience is important to her and she accomplishes this by matching the appies to the guests, the destination, and of course, the yacht. Recently, she shares a memorable experience with some clients, “One of the recent special times that I had was on a beautiful yacht during a magical July evening at St. Raphael, France. The wind was warm, the water was stunning and it was amazing to spend such a wonderful evening with our clients who just got their beautiful yacht! We had appetizers and some amazing Chablis and Rose wines while enjoying a peaceful evening docked at the marina.”

This special moment is a great example of the relationships we have with our tight-knit client community. Anya fondly recalls a very touching moment, “We had great laughs and talked about the warm and special memories they had on their previous yacht. It was an amazing evening that closed an old chapter and opened a new, even more exciting chapter in their life. We were all emotional and excited for them to experience new adventures and new memories aboard their new yacht. It’s always amazing to be a part of someone’s journey and to witness dreams coming true!”

Experiencing quality time with family and friends is what Anya treasures the most. Her day-to-day is jammed pack, yet in her down time, she makes quality time a priority. What makes these moments special is the perfect blend of locally inspired recipes as well as savouring the moment. “I love to have appies on a yacht with friends and family because it’s one of those moments, when I can slow down to enjoy the quality time with people who are important to me.” Anya tells us.
